Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has written a letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif requesting that Chief Ministers be included in the selection board for promotion in grades 21 to 22.

In his letter, he referred to Article 240 of the Constitution and said that the civil services have an important role in the federation and the provinces, but at present the provinces are not represented in the selection board for the highest posts.

He wrote that when the government employees are promoted from grade 21 to grade 22, opinions should be taken from the provinces.

In his letter, Murad Ali Shah requested the Prime Minister and wrote that the High Power Selection Board should be reconstituted and the Chief Ministers and Provincial Chief Secretaries should be included in the board.
