PML-N and PPP agree to replace Sindh Governor

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) have reached an agreement to replace the current Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tesori.

According to sources, the PML-N plans to appoint a new governor from within its own ranks, with Provincial President Bashir Memon emerging as a strong contender for the role. Consultations between the two parties are ongoing to finalize Memon’s appointment.

However, the PPP has raised some reservations about Memon’s nomination, and alternative candidates for the governorship are also being considered. Attaullah Tarar, a PML-N spokesperson, mentioned that he is unaware of the specific details regarding these discussions.

The change in leadership is anticipated to occur in the coming days, reflecting ongoing negotiations and party dynamics in Pakistani politics.
