
Inflation rate continues to decrease on a weekly basis in the country, with a decrease of 0.34 percent recorded in the inflation rate during the week, after which the annualized rate of inflation on a weekly basis came to 21.31.
According to the weekly data released by the Bureau of Statistics, 18 commodities became cheaper and 12 more expensive during the week, while the prices of 21 commodities remained stable.
According to the weekly inflation report issued by the Statistical Institute, during this week the price of garlic increased by 43 rupees 46 paise per kg, the price of chicken by 20 rupees 21 paise per kg and a 20 kg bag of flour increased by 88 rupees 89 paise. It got cheaper.
During the last one week, the price of onion has become cheaper by Rs 1 97 paise per kg and eggs by Rs 3 53 paise per dozen.
Similarly, basmati rice, lentils, masoor, peanuts and tomatoes are among the items that became cheaper, while the domestic LPG cylinder price also recorded a decrease of Rs 93 12 paise.
According to the weekly report of the Institute of Statistics, the price of beef increased by 4 rupees 62 paise per kg, mutton by 4 rupees 47 paise per kg and yogurt by 1 rupee 23 paise per kg. And cigarettes are also among the expensive items.
According to the Statistics Institute, the prices of 21 commodities, including cooking oil, electricity, petroleum products, remained stable during this week.
