ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan Ulan Baig has said that the attacks on Pakistani students in Bishkek were the result of a fake campaign on social media.
Speaking to Geo News, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Baig said that some miscreants targeted only Pakistani students, and investigation has been started after arresting these miscreants.
He said that the main conflict took place on May 13 between Egyptian and Kyrgyz students, but in any case, such an incident will not be allowed to happen again in Kyrgyzstan.
The Kyrgyz ambassador said that some Kyrgyz miscreants posted the videos of the fight on social media, on May 18, about 500 Kyrgyz residents protested against foreign students, some of the miscreants, including foreigners, stormed the hostels. Something was very sad.
